Doug Schonberg, Relational Systems Consultant
Doug’s joy is seeing individuals and organizations use ways of relating that build confidence, strength, and fun into their system and seeing the subsequent improvement in both morale and performance.
Doug has 25 years of wide-ranging congregational leadership experience, which provided him a broad set of relational leadership opportunities which included working with individuals and families, working with boards and teams to develop broad consensus for collective endeavours, motivating donors, public speaking, administrative and staff management, conflict prevention and resolution, and developing best practices. Approaching all these areas from a relational systems perspective proved itself invaluable.
Doug is currently completing a professional doctorate in practical theology with a research focus in relational systems. (McMaster Divinity College, Hamilton, Ontario) He holds a Master of Divinity degree with a focus in counselling. (Tyndale Seminary, Toronto, Ontario) as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology. (York University, Toronto, Ontario)
